Floreana Island Day Trip

Overview

A full-day boat trip to Floreana Island (about 1 hour 45 minutes each way). Highlights include a wet landing at Cormorant Point, a walk to the Flamingo Lagoon and a white-sand beach, and two snorkeling stops — one near Cormorant Point and one at Enderby Rock — where you may see sea lions, sea turtles, sharks, rays, and blue-footed boobies and frigatebirds overhead. The boat returns to Puerto Ayora by 5:00 PM.

• The boat ride to Floreana Island takes 1hour and 45 minutes (each way).
• Wet landing on the beach at Cormorant Point.
• Short walk to the Flamingo lagoon and white beach ( flour beach).
• Go snorkeling with sea lions, sea turtles, sharks, rays, and tropical fish.
• Highlights on land: Blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, and rays.
• Sail to Enderby Rock
• Go snorkeling again with sharks, rays, sea lions, and turtles. From the boat you can view Frigate birds, boobies, and Tropic birds.
• 5 pm: Come back to Puerto Ayora.
